Closing the gap

The chances for innovative products lies increasingly in the combination of findings from different disciplines. In many places, these interfaces are still being neglected. The Augsburg Innovationspark however, deliberately pushing ahead the cooperation between technical and business-administrational development. This is the only way to effectively close the gap between fundamental research and internal corporate research: innovations with a real economic potential will be detected at an early stage and purposefully implemented with interested companies.

Masterplan

The Masterplan for the Augsburg Innovationspark conceived by the renowned town planner Prof. Kees Christiaanse shows the vision of urban life and work in the same place.

According to the masterplan, lavish green spaces, sports and leisure facilities, restaurants, a planned nursery school and cultural offerings will be provided. This will create an inspirational environment with room for recreation and leasure, for action and communication, which will provide creative thinking with the required free space.
