Facts about – The Augsburg Innovation Park

With the Technology Centre Augsburg is an economic development project of the city of Augsburg and the region, supported by the Free State of Bavaria and further public institutions.

We are located in one of the most attractive economic regions in Europe, located only 40 minutes from Munich City.  

600.000 residents, universities and international schools are in our economic core area.

The goal is to speed up innovation and technology transfer for businesses in the field of aerospace, lightweight construction, composites, mechatronics,  AI, digitization and hydrogene technology.

Technology companies can settle in the 70-hectare Innovation Park or work closely together with research institutions as a project group in the 12,000-m² Technology Centre Augsburg in order to improve production processes and products.

70 users with 2.000 employees are already on site, f. ex.15 technology-oriented research Institutions, such as the DLR German Aerospace Centre, MRM Material Resource Management Institute or Fraunhofer Research Institute.
